Did you know that every Wednesday afternoon at 3:15 we go "old school" at La Porte Community Library? That is when we have Afterschool Game Time. You and your friends can play a selection of board games and find out who can dominate with the roll of the dice instead of a handheld controller. September 15th is the start of Hispanic Heritage Month and runs through mid-October. During this time, we honor the independence of the following Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile with cultural and festive programs.
