Beautiful Eggs

I know it's still March, but I'm already thinking about Easter.  I'm all excited about making these beautiful Ukrainian Easter Eggs!  They are very labor intensive but well worth the effort.  Tuesday, April 8th from 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm we will be learning how to make these wonderful eggs!  Notice the extended meeting time.  We will need extra time to finish these eggs.  I will provide whole, raw eggs, and everything else you need.  You are welcome to bring a blown out egg to decorate if you are uncomfortable about keeping a raw egg.  I assure you it is safe and will dry out in the shell and will not stink!  Space is limited so you will have to sign up here

Teen Tech Week

This week Maud Marks celebrated our first Teen Tech Week.  Local teens and tweens came by the library on Wednesday and Thursday this week to learn coding.  They were able to program their very own computer games with the help of our new Young Adult Librarian, Ms. Lauren.  At the end, they were even able to play the very games they created.

Missed all the fun?  Don't worry we have more fun activities for the teen and tween age group coming up.  This next Thursday, after school, we will be hosting a Divergent party to celebrate the release of the upcoming movie.  And every Thursday at the same time we will be having various other activities such as movies, game days, or crafts.  Come join Ms. Lauren for all the fun!  Check out our calendar for what will be happening each week.
