National Craft Month!

It is craft time here at the Maud Marks library! March is National Craft Month across our great country. In honor of National Craft Month, the Maud Marks library for the next two weeks has made our very own craft display. From sewing to origami, the craft display has books of all types of crafts for children and adults. You can even learn how to turn your garbage into art! So hurry on down to the Maud Marks library and learn how to express the inner artist in you!

"Who Done It?"

It's time to cook up a yummy dessert and gather at Maud Marks Library for the Mystery Book Club.  Wednesday, March 18th at 2 pm we will be discussing Open Season  by C J Box.   Joe makes some mistakes but that just makes him more human.  When he finds a local hunting outfitter dead, splayed out on the woodpile behind his state-owned home, he takes it personally!  Will this Wyoming game warden get his man?  If you need a copy of the book come by the library and pick one up.  Bring your favorite dessert to eat while we discuss whether the villains got their "just desserts"!

Library Gets a Facelift

The library is looking better these days thanks to volunteers from the annual Caring for Katy program sponsored by Kingsland Baptist Church. Volunteers power-washed the building, replaced dozens of lights, dusted the shelves and painted the interior.
