eBooks Everywhere!!!

Tired of carrying those heavy library books from place to place? Do you wish that you could just check out books from the convenience of your own home? Well, you are in luck! The Maud Marks Library will be offering an eBooks class this Saturday,  April 23 at 10:00 AM in the computer lab. In this class you will learn what an eBook is and the services the Harris County Public Library offers for them.

Movie this Friday!

Bring your family out to the Maud Marks Library this Friday, April 15, at 3:00 PM, to enjoy a family movie. We will be watching a movie about a little girl and a rabbit that are late for a very important date.

Unfortunately, we cannot print the name of the movie here, but call the library at 281-492-8592 to get the movie title.

Static Electricity

 Learn all about static electricity this week at Wednesday Wonders. The class is designed for 6-10 year olds. Starting time is 4:45 pm, free tickets available starting at 4:30. Space is limited.

Citizenship Classes Begin Again

Citizenship Classes will return to Maud Marks Library on Monday, April 18 @ 6:30 PM.  The class can assist in preparation for U.S. citizenship. Topics include preparing for the interview, U.S.Government and history. No registration is necessary. The class ends at 8:30 PM. 

Microsoft Word: The Basics

Do you need to type documents for work or personal use? The Maud Marks Library will be offering two Basic Microsoft Word Classes in the computer lab on April 12 at 10 AM and 7 PM. This class is a basic introduction to Microsoft Word. Learn how to use the tool bar and create a word document. So come on by the Maud Marks Library on Tuesday, April 12 at 10 AM or 7 PM and start typing word documents in no time!
