Art Show & Workshops - All Month Long

April 1-30, local artists will exhibit their work throughout the library.  Come view their paintings and sculptures.  Artwork displayed is available for sale.   This project is sponsored by the Friends of Maud Marks Library. As an added incentive local artists will be teaching their crafts with these educational seminars:

Color Me Relaxed

 It's not too late to join us for "Color Me Relaxed", a coloring time for adults.  Make some new friends while you color, relax, chat, have a snack, and listen to music. We have lots of coloring pages and pencils available to choose from, or bring your own and share with others. This month we meet on Tuesday., March 28, 2017, at 2 pm. If you can't make it this month, join us in April.

Excelling at Microsoft Excel!

Are you looking for a great way to organize all your data at work or home? The Maud Marks Library will be offering a computer class on the basics of Microsoft Excel 2013 on April 1 at 10 AM or April 4 at 7 PM in the computer lab. This class will feature how to use the basic features and terms of Microsoft Excel. You will learn the parts of the Excel screen and how to enter data using formulas by practicing with spreadsheets. So come on by the Maud Marks Library, April 1 at 10 AM or April 4 at 7 PM to become a Microsoft Excel pro!

Book Sale Time

On Saturday, March 25 the Friends of the Maud Marks Library will be hosting their monthly book sale. From 10 AM - 4 PM there will be a large selection of different books to peruse and purchase. Browse through hardback fiction and nonfiction, children’s books and paperbacks. Most items are $1.00 or less and all of the proceeds benefit the library. We hope to see you there!

Who is in YOUR Family Tree?

Are you related to nobility or black sheep?  Who is in YOUR famiy tree?  The Maud Marks Library want to help you find out.   Every Wednesday from 10-12.  Experts from the database FamilySearch.org will be in our computer lab to show you how its done.  Whether you are a complete novice or have been searching for years, our volunteers will help you find that illusive ancestor hiding among the leaves.  Best of all, not only is it free, no registration is required.  Just walk in and receive one-on-one help.
