Topics covered will include preparing for the citizenship interview, application and filing instructions, and general knowledge of U.S. government and history.

You can attend all or just some of the classes which will meet from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM April 13, 20, 27, and May 11, 18.

You CAN Work for Yourself

Are you ready to be your own boss?  Maud Marks can help you do that!  This Saturday at 10 AM, SCORE, a volunteer group who offer business counseling to small business owners, will be here to show you how it is done.  They will discuss things like choosing a business entity, the right location, business expenses and deductions, employees vs. subcontractors, financial organization (setting up your books), forms, websites and more.  Let 2015 be the year you gain your employment independence!

Book Clubs

There is still time to join us for an afternoon book club.  On this Thursday, April 9 at 1 pm the Afternoon Book Club will be meeting.  They will be discussing the book Longbourn by Jo Baker.  Immerse yourself a Jane Austin world but from another point of view.  On Wednesday, April 15 at 2 pm the Mystery Book Club will be taking a stab at Blood from a Stone by Donna Leon.  Be sure to bring a dessert to share.  Come by the library and pick up one of these books and join in one or both of these fun groups.
