YIPPEE-KI-YAY! Friday Films Are Back!

Ready for some exciting family entertainment? On Friday November 6 at the Maud Marks Branch Library, we will be showing The Great Mouse Detective in the meeting room. The movie will begin at 1:15 PM with free popcorn provided.

Change to Wednesday Wonders

Starting tomorrow, Wednesday Wonders will be a ticketed program.  This is a program for elementary students ages 6-11.  We spend the hour exploring the world through STEAM, science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.  There is a different activity each week.  Come tickets will be available at 4:30 for our 4:45 PM program.  Tickets will be given to the first 25 elementary students.  There will be no admittance after 5 PM.  

Teen Time Video Game Tournament


This Thursday we're inviting teens to come test their skills against each other in a video game tournament. In a four player free for all you'll get to smash, bash, and brawl your way to the top. The fun starts at 2:45 PM so bring your skills, your friends and enter the fray.

Be a Volunteer!

Calling all High School Teens! Are you needing volunteer hours this school year? The Maud Marks Library is currently accepting volunteer applications.

Volunteers must be in high school and be able to commit to 2 hours a week. Come by the library to fill out and turn in an application. The next Teen Volunteer Orientation is on Thursday, November 5, at 4:30 PM. All new volunteers are required to attend an orientation before they can begin volunteering.

Local Literature

Join us on Saturday, October 24 from 12:30 -4:30 pm as we celebrate local authors. Authors will be here to discuss their latest works and read excerpts from their books. Attendees will be eligible for door prizes, and will also be able to purchase autographed copies of their books.
