School is out and summer break is here! Come by the Maud Marks Library on Thursday, June 2, and Friday, June 3, to enjoy the start of our Summer Time Family Film Festival. The movies start each day at 1:15 PM.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale is This Weekend


Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! The Friends of the Maud Marks Library have their monthly book sale this Saturday, May 28, 2016. Stop by anytime between 10 AM and 2 PM to browse their selection of books. There is a large number of hardback fiction and nonfiction, as well as children’s books and paperbacks. The entire stock will be set up in the Maud Marks Meeting Room and made available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the library.

Update your calendar for this is the last week of Pre-school Explorers and Wednesday Wonders. We will take a break for the summer and return in September. 

Don't despair, the summer months are jammed packed with fun things to do, starting Monday, June 6 with the start of the Summer Reading Program and a petting zoo from 1:30-3:30 pm. See you there. 


Get to the Point with Microsoft PowerPoint!

 Are you looking for a way to display your work and make your presentation unique? If so, then Microsoft Power Point is a great place to start! The Maud Marks Library will be offering a Basic Microsoft PowerPoint class on Tuesday, May 24 at 1 PM in the computer lab. In this class you will learn how to design and create a digital presentation that can really impress your audience. So swing by the Maud Marks Library and witness the power of Microsoft PowerPoint!

Citizenship Class

The Maud Marks Library has one more Citizenship Class before the summer break! This free class, taught by a retired U.S. Immigration officer, will help with all aspects of the citizenship process. Topics covered will include preparing for the citizenship interview, application and filing instructions, and general knowledge of U.S. government and history.

The last class will be held on Monday, May 23, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
