Computer Class 101 - How Well Do You Know Your Computer?

The Maud Marks Library is offering a free Computer 101 class this Saturday, October 3 at 10 AM. Come and explore the finer points of using a computer. The class will focus on just the basics.  Participants will become familiar with key terminology, learn how to operate a computer and get a chance to explore the Windows system that is used on so many devices today. Seating is limited so registration is required.

Friday Film on Early Dismissal Day


Looking for something to do this Friday, Oct. 2, when school gets out early? Come to the library at 1:15 pm for a movie and free popcorn. We are featuring the animated film Shark Tale. It’s about life under the sea with a gangster shark and his would be prey, and his vegetarian brother. Lots of fun for the entire family. 

What Happened to My iPad?!

IOS9 came out recently and everything on my iPad changed!  Did that happen to you too?

Never fear though, at Maud Marks we can help you with that!  Come to the library on Tuesday, September 29 at 10 AM for our class, Introduction to the Apple iPad.  Come get all your questions answered!  Learn how to get the most of your Apple device.

Then, at 1 PM come back as we Get Started With Apps.  Learn which apps are must haves to keep your life organized, efficient, productive, and fun.

Used Book Sale

It's that time again!  The Friends of the Maud Marks Library Used Book Sale is this Saturday, Sept. 26 from 10 am to 4 pm.  As always there is something for every one.  Prices for movies, DVD's, VHS tapes, and books range from $ .25 to $ 2.00.  Bring your wagon and your spare change and load up!  Children's items go fast so get here early if you are looking for the little ones.   It's sure to be a nice day so see you there!

Does It Add Up?

This week's Wednesday Wonders  STEAM program will focus on mathematics. Elementary school age students will play games and engaged in activities that relate to the ability to think and work with numbers. Program runs 4:45- 5:30 pm.
