Holiday Hours


Maud Marks Branch Library will close at 5 PM on Thursday, March 24 in observance of the Easter holiday. We will remain closed through the weekend. Regular hours resume Monday, March 28 with the library opening at 1 PM. eMedia items such as ebooks and audiobooks can still be borrowed by visiting our eBooks and More page.

Movie Day @ Your Library

Today, Friday, March 18, is the last day of our Spring Break Film Festival at the Maud Marks Library. Bring your family in to enjoy a movie about three children who find themselves in a world of fairies and other fantastical creatures. 

Unfortunately, we cannot print the name of the movie here, but call the library at 281-492-8592 to get the movie title.

The movie starts at 3:00. Free popcorn will be served!

Microsoft Excel:The Basics

Are you looking for a great way to organize all your data at work or home? The Maud Marks Library will be offering a computer class on the basics of Microsoft Excel 2013 on Tuesday, March 15 at 7 PM in the computer lab. This class will feature how to use the basic features and terms of Microsoft Excel. You will learn the parts of the Excel screen and how to enter data using formulas by practicing with spreadsheets. So come on by the Maud Marks Library, March 15 at 7 PM to become a Microsoft Excel pro!

Green Thumb Gardening

          It’s definitely that time of year again when the great outdoors is calling our names. The garden is ready for some tender loving care and the Master Gardeners of Harris County know how to help. Come to the Maud Marks Library on Saturday, March 19, at 10 am to learn about raised beds and low-volume irrigation. Save water and keep your garden looking beautiful.
