Downloading eBooks and AudioBooks Class


 

The Maud Marks Library is offering a free class this Saturday, December 5 at 10 AM on downloading ebooks. Have you ever wanted to read or listen to a book on your iPad, Nook, or Kindle? Bring your device and your library card to learn how to do just that using one of our ebook resources. If you don't have a device you can practice on ours. Seating is limited so registration is required.

Share Your Holidays Food Drive

Maud Marks Branch will once again be the drop off location for food donations in Channel 13’s annual “Share Your Holidays” Food Drive. The Food Drive will take place on Friday, December 4 from 6 AM - 6 PM The library has participated every year since it opened in 1993. All food donated will be distributed by Katy Christian Ministries and benefit families in the Katy area.

Butterfly Release

You've watched them change and now its time to let them go. On Wednesday, November 25 at 11:15 am we will release the butterflies in the preschool explorers class.

Santa's Ranch Volunteers Needed

Are you needing a few volunteer hours? Do you enjoy working with children? Want to help with games, crafts, gingerbread houses, face painting, and more? Then come to the Maud Marks Library for an application to volunteer at our annual Santa's Ranch holiday event!

On the afternoon of Friday, December 18, the library will be having our holiday open house. Teens (in 7th grade through 12th grade) who are interested in volunteering can earn anywhere from 1 to 5 service hours. Come by the Maud Marks Library to pick up an application. Don't delay! Applications are due Saturday, December 12!
