Genealogy Classes at Maud Marks

 Have you ever been interested in learning about your family's history? Where did they  come from? Who was your great great grandfather? Well, we've got some great  news. Currently we are offering a class about our genealogy databases. You'll learn how to trace your family’s lineage and  discover your roots. The classes will be held every Wednesday in June at 10 AM.  Registration is required.

How do you work this thing?!?

Did you have a new laptop or computer, but are not sure how to use it? That’s ok, come by the Maud Marks Library on June 7th at 10:00 AM. We will be offering a Computer 101 class this Tuesday in the computer lab. In this class, you will discover what a computer does, learn the basic terminology, and how to start a computer. This class will help you become familiar with Windows operating system and show you how to use the mouse. The class is designed for new computer users. Become a computer whiz in no time!

School is out and summer break is here! Come by the Maud Marks Library on Thursday, June 2, and Friday, June 3, to enjoy the start of our Summer Time Family Film Festival. The movies start each day at 1:15 PM.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale is This Weekend

 

Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! The Friends of the Maud Marks Library have their monthly book sale this Saturday, May 28, 2016. Stop by anytime between 10 AM and 2 PM to browse their selection of books. There is a large number of hardback fiction and nonfiction, as well as children’s books and paperbacks. The entire stock will be set up in the Maud Marks Meeting Room and made available for purchase. All proceeds will benefit the library.
