Movie and Popcorn Monday

OH NO! –you just realized Monday, October 14th is Columbus day – a school holiday!   What are you going to do with the kids?   Before you panic you should know that the library is not only open, we are also offering a free movie complete with popcorn, courtesy of the Friends of Maud Marks Library.  The movie (we can’t print the movie title online) is an animated family adventure.   The story takes place on another planet in another time. A thousand  years ago a  mysterious crystal was damaged by one of the Urskeks and an age of chaos began!  Characters include an  evil race of grotesque birdlike lizards  ( Skeksis)  and  gnomish dragons who rule their fantastic planet with an iron claw.
