The 4th of July… Independence Day

Fireworks and barbecue… is that what it’s all about?  That’s the celebratory part of the day we attempt to remember our country’s freedom from foreign rule.  Americans  come together and continue in what  began in 1776, that … “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”  (from the Declaration of Independence)     We will be closed on Wed., July 4th. Enjoy your holiday!

 

We're Waiting for You!

Our wonderful volunteers are waiting for all you readers to come to the incentive table and claim your certificate and free book.  You can do it,  just read or have someone read to you, 10 books or read for 500 minutes. Just do it!

Monday Afternoon Adventures

Our Lego program last Monday was a huge success! If you missed it, don"t despair - every Monday afternoon during our Summer Reading Program we will have something fun for elementary-age students.

This coming Monday is Puppet Pizzazz., tickets are available at 1 pm for the 2 o'clock show and the 3:15 show.
