Tween Time Celebrates Character Birthday

Guess who's birthday is today??
You're right, it's MICKEY MOUSE!!!

Today Mickey is turning 87 and we are celebrating during today's Tween Time at 4:30. Come enjoy some yummy treats, and watch some old school Mickey Mouse movies with us. We might have a special guest drop by, so bring your cameras. You'll also have a fun time taking pictures at the photo booth, (smiling and silly faces are welcome).
**Tween time is a monthly program recommended for kids ages 10-12 years old.

Knowing how to say goodbye is never easy.  For the families of those stricken with Alzheimer's or dementia often have to say it long before they are ready.  In  "Making Rounds with Oscar," David Dosa, a geriatrician at Steere House in Rhode Island, explores how one cat seems to bridge the gap for families and patients on their life-changing journeys.

Ask A Lawyer at North Channel Library

lawyerOur popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, November 14th from 11 am - 12:30 pm in our Meeting Room.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. November Kid's Craft

Can you name a Native American Indian tribe from the Southeast Alaskan coast? This tribe also goes by the name of Kolosh, Lingit, or "People of the Tides"...Join us this Wednesday, November 11 at 4:30pm for our November Kid's Craft where we'll explore some seasonal arts and crafts by spraying watercolor paint to make turkey decorations and also make a Tlingit Whale art craft with cut paper.  Enjoy some Native American inspired snacks too!
