Thanksgiving Craft

Did you know bubble wrap isn't just for packing? If you'd like to have fun with paint (and bubble wrap!) and make something cool for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, then come by Wednesday, November 5th at 4:30pm...We'll meet in the  Public Meeting Room and everyone will get to take home their own "Corn-y Wreath" keepsake creation! Book Sale This Weekend @ North Channel Library

book saleHelp the library raise money and stock your bookshelves at the same time!  The Friends of the North Channel Library will be holding their monthly Book Sale this Friday, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th during the library's open hours.  The Friends group has all types of books and movies for sale.  All proceeds from the sale go directly to the North Channel Library to fund various library needs, such as summer

Election Day @ Your Library!

It's official! The North Channel Public Library is the location of one of the newest voting precincts! If your yellow and white Voter's Registration card lists Precinct 0460, you are one of the lucky ones who will be voting on Election Day, Tues. November 4th from 7 am to 7 pm at 15741 Wallisville Rd., Houston, TX 77049. This Precinct is bounded by Wallisville Rd. to the South, Sheldon Rd. to the East, HWY 90 and the Miller Roads on the North and the City of Houston West Canal on the West.

Voters Guide @ Your Library

The League of Women Voters of Houston Education Fund makes available the LWV Voters Guide at the North Channel Branch Library. This nonpartisan election material in newspaper format includes "Things Voters Should Know" about the candidates running for office in the Election.  Please pick up your copy from the newspaper rack inside the Library.  For more information, you may go to www.lwvhouston.org
