We sure had a great time exploring the world of science this summer with reading programs for all ages...with over 1500 participants at the North Channel Branch!  Stay tuned though-the fun is not over yet.  In October there will be an exciting exhibit featuring a model of the International Space Station as well as kids and teen programming coming from NASA/Johnson Space Center!

Ask A Lawyer Program

Ask a LawyerOur popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, August 9th from 11 am - 12:30 pm in our Meeting Room.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. Johnson, Attorney at Law.  Ms. Johnson will be answering legal questions and addressing issues that are important to the community.  Please join us for a chance for some free legal guidance.

Teen Summer Reading Program

Spark A Reaction Logo The Teen Summer Reading Program is drawing to a close.  Three more programs remain for teens and tweens.  This afternoon, Aug. 5th, join us in the meeting room to design a marble run.  On Wednesday, Aug. 6th stop by and play games on our Wii.  Then, wrap up the week by creating a smart phone amp on Thursday, Aug 7th.
