Strings Attached-- Schedule Change!

YarnandNeedlesStrings Attached, the North Channel Branch's needle crafting group, will see a schedule change.   Both the beginner and intermediate groups will now meet on the second Wednesday of the month.  This month we will gather in the meeting room on November 12th. The intermediate group will meet at 1:30 pm.

Scrapbooking @ North Channel Library

scrapbookingAre you interested in putting together a scrapbook but not sure where to start? Looking for some new scrapbooking ideas? Come to our monthly "Scrapbooking with Mia" program.  This month we will meet on Saturday, November 15th from 10 am to 1 pm in the meeting room. Don't forget to bring your photos. See you there!

Free Literacy Help @ North Channel Branch Library


Did you know that North Channel Library offers free Adult Literacy tutoring? If you or someone you know struggles with reading, wants to improve basic reading and writing skills, or to work towards obtaining a GED, our tutors would be happy to help! Contact a staff member to have a Literacy Assessment scheduled, and after it is performed our Literacy Team will place you with one of our volunteer Literacy tutors. Tutors meet with Literacy students one or two days per week for 1-2 hours, and continue tutoring sessions for at least 6 months or until the student's learning goals are met.

Thanksgiving Craft

Did you know bubble wrap isn't just for packing? If you'd like to have fun with paint (and bubble wrap!) and make something cool for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, then come by Wednesday, November 5th at 4:30pm...We'll meet in the  Public Meeting Room and everyone will get to take home their own "Corn-y Wreath" keepsake creation! Book Sale This Weekend @ North Channel Library
