BABY TIME @ YOUR LIBRARY!

If you have little ones, join us for Baby Time each Thursday morning at 10:30 am. This short interactive program introduces board books to children. Plus we sing songs, dance and play with the parachute! Toward the end of the brief program, we open the toy box for fun time with educational toys, including building blocks. And we end each program with bubbles!! The babies love to watch the bubbles, try to touch them and pop them! Plus we now have  "Early Literacy" ABC puppets as well as "Sight and Sound Tubes" as a gift from the North Shore Rotary Club!

Wii Game Day

Wii Game Console Calling all Teens and Tweens! Calling all Teens and Tweens!  Assemble in the North Channel Branch Library meeting room, Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 4:30 pm for Wii gaming and fun with friends.  Repeat, meet at 4:30 pm, Nov. 13, in the meeting room for gaming and fun. Calling all teens and tweens!! It's time for Wii Game Day.

Free Legal Clinic @ North Channel

Our popular "Ask A Lawyer" program will be held this Saturday, November 9th from 11 am - 12:30 pm.  This free legal clinic is presented by Angela D. Johnson, Attorney at Law.  Ms. Johnson will be answering legal questions and addressing issues that are important to the community.  Please join us for a chance for some free legal guidance

Teen Read Week

Seek The Unknown @ Your LibraryRead just for the fun of it!  Seek the unknown at your library and join the North Channel Branch for Teen Read Week. 

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, come to the library and TAG the Unknown, meet other teens and learn how you can be an active member of the library.  On Wednesday, Oct. 16, investigate an alien glow and take home evidence of your own alien encounter.  On Thursday, Oct. 17, meet the Unknown Poet—You!  Use a technique called blackout to create poetic expressions of your own. 

All programs will start at 4:30 pm in the meeting room.
