STEAM Camp: Halloween Science!

We sure had fun at last month's STEAM Camp Engineering Challenge making LEGO/Pool Noodle Marble Runs! Be sure to join us Monday, October 17 at 6pm for STEAM again, when we create some Halloween magic  with a  "Ghost in a Bottle"  experiment. Try  your hand at making a Candy Corn Catapult as well...Recommended for ages 6-12 years. Free tickets are available at the front desk.
 

Gulf Coast Reads Craft: Japanese Flying Carp

Japanese Flying CarpThe 2016 Gulf Coast Reads Title is: The Train to the Crystal City by Jan Jarboe Russell. In honor of this year's title we will celebrate Japanese culture by making Flying Carps on Wednesday, October 12th, at 4:30 pm in the Public Meeting Room.

DreamWorks Spooky StoriesWe changed our Monday Movie. Come get in the spirit of Halloween with us today at 4:30 pm. We will be watching Dreamworks Spooky Stories featuring characters from your favorite movies Shrek, and Monsters Vs. Aliens.

Using Your Smartphone class this Monday

The Harris County Information Technology Center will be hosting a class on using your smartphone at the North Channel Library on Monday, October 10 at 1:30 PM.
