Last week the children at the Northwest Branch Library got together and found their alter egos at Super Hero Camp. A great time was had by all. They designed their own costumes and found themselves in the middle of some serous training. Check it out.

Code Challenge

Love computers and want to add to your computer skills. Come and learn about basic computer coding, similar to what is used in all your favorite apps and mini games. Ages 12-18 are welcome.
The challenge will be June 16th at 3:00pm. See you there!

Discover Your Chill Skills

Teens SocializingSchool is out, but we never stop learning. Join us for Chill Skills tomorrow at 1:30 PM. Cy-Fair Community Youth Services Specialist, Theresa Williams, will help young adults learn about anger management, social skills, positive self-esteem and bullying through group activities.

Participants must have a sign permission slip, which will be available 30 minutes before the program begins. The class is designed for ages 10 and older.

Faithful Paws

We are pleased to announce a new program with Faithful Paws designed to help reluctant readers gain confidence in their abilities. When it comes to unconditional acceptance and sincere enthusiasm, dogs are a breed apart, so what better listener for a child who may be struggling with reading. Registered therapy dog, Nooska, and her human, Shawn Stibbard, will visit Northwest Branch Library.
