Volunteer instructors are needed to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, citizenship, and adult literacy in our community.  Training and materials are provided along with flexible scheduling. Children's Diwali Festival

DiwaliSaturday, October 29th at 1:00 pm children will learn about Diwali the festival of lights Diwali Lamppresented by Vinanti Mistry. She will tell stories, everyone will make a craft and she will bring items to show and tell. Everyone will get to decorate a clay Diwali lamp and take home a rangoli sand art kit. Come and get a free ticket 30 minutes before the program. For ages 5-10 years old. Limit 30 children.

What is ReadyRosie?

ReadyRosie is an early education tool that is currently helping schools and communities across the nation deepen and scale their parent engagement efforts by leveraging the power of video modeling and mobile technology to meet and equip parents where they are. ReadyRosie has hundreds of brief videos in English and Spanish that model everyday interactions in familiar environments with real parents.

All it takes is 2 minutes a day.

Come in costume and join the fun with Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin, Swamp Fishing, Graveyard Golf, Spider Ring Toss, Monster Photo Area, Treat or Treat Toss, Crafts and Go Trick or Treat around the Library for goodies.
