E-Media Workshop

Adults If you want assistance in using your Kindle, IPad or phone to download eBooks, a workshop is being held at the Northwest Branch Library on Saturday Oct.1st at 10:00 am. Assistance with the library apps like Hoopla, Overdrive, One click digital or Flipster will be provided. If necessary contact the branch 281-890-2665.

Booksale this Saturday

The Friends of the Northwest Branch Library are having a book sale this Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Many great deals await, so stop on by and support the library.

The Friends of the Northwest Branch Library began in 1982 to raise funds necessary to build the Northwest Branch Library. The Friends continue to hold tri-annual book sales, support library programming and perform volunteer work at the library.  The Friends are always looking for new members and invite all those that value their community library to join up.

Taekwondo for Kids

Child Practicing TaekwondoKids, what are you doing next Friday, September 9, at 4:30 PM? Come learn about kicking, punching, board breaking, nunchucks, games and lots more with ATA Martial Arts. Space is limited to ten participants and a ticket will be required. Tickets will go out thirty minutes prior to the start of the program. In addition, parents will need to fill out necessary forms at the beginning of the session in order for their child to participate. For ages 5-12 years.

High-Five Super Science Club

If so, then come and learn the science behind clouds with crafts, hands-on activities and stories presented by University of Houston Be a Teacher Club. We'll start at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 27. Space is limited. Get a free ticket at the desk 30 minutes before the program.
