 In partnership with Houston Money Week, participants of our pre-school storytime, learned about money this week.  I wanted to give families additional resources that will allow you to extend this experience at home.

I like several different book genres.  My favorites would probably be mysteries and historical romance.

On my own time, I enjoy doing counted cross stitch and sometimes make my own patterns.  I also follow NASCAR and enjoy going to the races when I can.

Teens: Celebrate Teen Literature Day with Bookapalooza

Teens, put down that book and take a break from reading by celebrating Teen Literature Day at the library. Join us on Thursday, April 16th at 4:30pm for an afternoon of book related games, crafts, prizes, and more! No registration required. This program is appropriate for ages 13-18. 

Teens: Get Creative With Our Book Spine Poetry Contest

Celebrate National Poetry Month by creating a book spine poetry masterpiece! Line up the spines of a book, take a photo, and send it to ata4ya@gmail.com. The winners will be featured on our blog and teen zine. Entries are due by April 30th. 

Teens: Explore Anime and Coding @ the Library

Calling all otaku! Join us for Club Anime this Tuesday, April 7th at 7pm. We'll discuss Anime Matsuri along with the latest in anime and manga. Please note: this program is appropriate for ages 13-18 years old.  More...
