Handy Tips to Stop Bedtime Drama


Dear Parent,

Does the very thought of "bedtime" make you want to wince?  Getting your child to bed is not an easy task, but the solution is closer than you think. Come learn what you can do to help your child transition from playtime to bedtime. Registered dietitian, Mrs. Katrina Sobecky, will be at the library to help you solve your bedtime drama.

Teens and Tweens: Get in Shape with CrossFit

 Calling all Tweens and Teens! Get in shape at the library! Join us on Wednesday, March 2nd at 4:30pm fo CrossFit for Teens and Tweens. Learn the basics of CrossFit from Nicole Hitt of CrossFit Haste. Don't miss it!

This program is for tween and teens ages 12-18 years old or grades 6-12. 

Coming March 22: ESL Tutor Training

Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, attend the training session to learn how to teach English as a Second Language. You can make a huge difference in someone’s life by volunteering to be an ESL tutor.

Early math skills in storytime? You bet! I also include projects that encourage children to be active participants in their learning. Cognitive play, encourages the development of language and subsequent early literacy skills.

 It is my goal to create projects that you can easily duplicate at home; thus, extending your child's learning experiences. I hope to see you and your children soon. If you cannot make it on Twilight Tales on Monday nights, I hope that you will  stop by the library to say hi.
