Adult Education Workshop: Social Security and Estate Planning

Join us in the Atascocita Branch Library meeting room, November 1 from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm, to learn more about Social Security options and benefits plus estate planning basics.  Topics include "When should I start benefits to maximize distributions?" and "What changes to Social Security benefits are legislators considering in the future?"  Presented by John Taphorn of Merrill Lynch and Deborah Currin, Attorney. 

Halloween Programs for Children and Their Families

We would love to see all our friends in their fabulous (kid friendly) Halloween costumes.  Don't forget to bring your cameras!

Halloween Craft Program

Children are invited to attend a special craft program on Tuesday, October 30th at 4:30 pm.  We will be get ready for tick-or-treating by decorating Halloween tote bags. Best of all, this is a free program and tickets are not required. Please be aware that we will be using fabric markers.  Therefore, it is recommended that you bring an old shirt, an apron or an artist smock to protect clothing.

Children and adults are invited to attend a free concert presented by The High School for Performing and Visual Arts Mariachi Band, Directed by William Hoffman. This event is free and open to the public. No reservations required.

Come Meet Mr. Bear @ Family Storytime

Family Storytime is held on Monday Nights at 7pm.

You are invited to join Mr. Bear and friends as we enjoy books, songs and much more. This is a free program and you do not need to register to attend.

Families will enjoy books, songs, and puppets during this weekly storytime program. Frequent crafts are also provided, but may not be appropriate for children under 3 years old. Neither tickets nor registration are required for this program.
