Meet BOLT: Atascocita Library's Board of Library Teens

In October, we launched our very first teen advisory board at the Atascocita Library. Our Board of Library Teens (aka BOLT) will help develop young adult programs, assist the childrens department with special project and raise funds for the library. Members include (back row from left to right) Roger Thomas III, Stephanie Simpson, Nicole Edgar, Marisol Harper, (front row from left to right) Emily Dousay and Ariel Thomas. Stayed tuned for their first event entitled "Winter Wonderland" at the Winter Program on December 12th.

Craft Club: Tote Bags

Like to be creative?   Then join us for crafting fun! Tonight, October 20 at 7:00 PM, we're making decoupage tote bags that can be used for the upcoming holidays, birthdays, and so much more!  Supplies are provided, instruction given, and all that is missing is you.  Join us tonight for our Adult Craft Club.

Celebrate Halloween with Cookie Decorating

 Don't miss your chance to take part in this fun celebration.  This program is popular so it will require tickets.  You can pick up a free ticket for the program 30 minutes before the program. Space is limited.  Children may wear their Halloween attire if they would like.

Twilight Tales Halloween Craft

Children made Halloween paperweights this evening during Twilight Tales. This program is held every Monday night at 7pm.  It has been developed as a family storytime program for children of all ages.  Typically, a craft is also provided.

 

Harris County Homeowner Disaster Recovery Program

The Harris County Homeowner Disaster Recovery Program (HDRP) is a voluntary program to assist homeowners who reside in Harris County but outside the City of Houston, whose homes were affected by Hurricane Ike by providing financial assistance to repair damage and when necessary reconstruct home.
