Join us at the Octavia Fields Branch Library for a new series of programs-Healthy and Happy with H.E.Buddy.  This series, presented in collaboration with H.E.B., will take place on the third Tuesday of each month at 4pm.

The first program in the series, Back to School-Healthy Snacks, will take place on Tuesday, August 16th, at 4pm.  There will be fun activities and tasty food demonstrations.  Come and meet H.E.Buddy!

In this class we discuss the benefits of meal planning, the major food groups, tips on how to add more exercise into one's lifestyle, foods that help improve our health along with what a delicious healthy plate looks like. In collaboration with Texas A&M AgriLife. Food preparation and demonstration included.

Participants will be awarded certificates after attending two classes (on August 11 and 18)
