New ESL Distance Learning @ Your Library

Harris County Public Library is partnering with Harris County Department of Education, Adult Education to present a free distance learning program for area residents who want to learn English. Distance education programs allow you to learn at your own pace and to work on any computer with an internet connection.

Anime Club – Princess Mononoke (PG-13) Pt. 3/3 January 22nd @ 5 PM [13+]

      At the Parker Williams Branch, the Anime Club will be watching watch the third and final installment of Princess Mononoke in the Library Community Room on January 22nd at 5 PM.

     “On a journey to find the cure for a Tatarigami's curse, Ashitaka finds himself in the middle of a war between the forest gods and Tatara, a mining colony. In this quest he also meets San, the Mononoke Hime.” -



Community Craft – Foam Painting January 21st @ 4 PM [5+]

     One part shaving cream, one part glue, add color, and a lot of fun.


     Join us at the Parker Williams Branch in the Library Community Room on January 21st at 4 PM to color some pictures with a little more pop.
