Clean Out the Craft Closet Nov. 25th @ 2 PM

Not all of the craft projects that we prepared for storytime or Community Craft programs at the Parker Williams Branch get used.

Much like turkey, mashed potatoes, and that little bit of stuffing at the end of a Thanksgiving meal, they are leftovers. They get stored away in our craft closet waiting for an opportunity to get used.

Welcome our new butterflies

Whether you are a longtime citizen, a new citizen or still working on it, one way you can celebrate Citizenship Month in Houston is by coming into the library and making a paper butterfly. While you are here, see if our painted lady butterflies have emerged from their chrysalises. That will probably happen later this week. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a citizen, we have classes on Fridays at 1:30 p.m. Drop by anytime to register or call us for more information.
