AARP Tax Aide is Coming to You

AARP TaxAide is coming to you on Monday and Friday, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., beginning February 1, 2016 - April 18, 2016.
Volunteers from AARP TaxAide will assist with federal income tax preparation, tax questions and filing tax returns.  This service is FREE and will be available in the library meeting room on a first-come, first- served basis.   Please bring a photo-ID, social security cards and any other official documentation for oneself and ALL dependents, a copy of last year's income tax return, W-2 forms from each employer, unemployment compensation statements, and other necessary forms to help the volunteer complete the return.

 

New ESL Distance Learning @ Your Library

Harris County Public Library is partnering with Harris County Department of Education, Adult Education to present a free distance learning program for area residents who want to learn English. Distance education programs allow you to learn at your own pace and to work on any computer with an internet connection.
