Learn about construction skills training at San Jacinto College

While parts of Houston’s economy struggle because of low oil prices, construction jobs such as welding, pipefitting and industrial electrician are in demand because of new plants to be built east of the city. Join Dr. J.D. Taliaferro Jr, director of Applied Technologies & Trades at San Jacinto College, on Monday, Feb. 29 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about classes available in construction and related fields, funding to cover class costs and job placement.

Hour of Code – Basic HTML February 18 @ 4:30 PM [8+]

     Hour of Code is a program brought to you by the Parker Williams Branch to help give school aged children some exposure to various computer programming languages.

 

   Meet us in the Computer Lab on February 18th from 4:30 to 5:30 to get a basic primer into the world of HTML coding.
