Magic: The Gathering Gameplay [8+] - Saturday, April 14th from 2-4 PM

Magic: The Gathering is a dueling card game from Wizards of the Coast.

It incorporates strategy, mythical lore, and competitive-community play.

Join us on April 14th on the Library Floor for game play from 2-4 PM. For those who would like to learn how to play, a staff member will be present to teach you.

STEM Time – RBG Pixels [7+] - Wednesday, April 11 at 5 PM

From TVs to computer screens to our phones, pixels are everywhere.

Our STEM Time this month will be focusing on explaining how we get the different bands of color to show true on a variety of devices.

On Wednesday, April 11th, join us in the Library Community Room at 5 PM to more about the dancing lights of color. 

Drone Flying Club [8 to Adult] - Monday, April 9 at 5 PM

The South Belt Ellington area has always been an innovative location for the expansion of aerospace.

With a grant from the Parker Williams and Harris County Friends of the Library, we have been able to purchase the equipment to begin our own drone flying club.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to fly a quadcopter, you can learn right here at the Parker Williams Branch Library on the second and fourth Monday from 5 PM to 6 PM. 

Movie and Markers – The Lego Ninjago Movie (PG) 90 min. [10+] - Thursday, April 5 at 4 PM

“Shunned by everyone for being the son of an evil warlord, a teenager seeks to defeat him with the help of his fellow ninjas.” –

Join us on April 5th starting at 4 PM in the Library Community Room to watch The Lego Ninjago Movie.

To go along with the movie, coloring sheets and markers will be provided during the movie. 

Estate planning with William Archer

Join attorney William D. Archer on Tuesday, April 3 at 2 p.m. here at the library to learn about estate planning, requirements to probate a will and how to avoid probate, what to do when a loved one passes, utilizing trusts, and using Transfer on Death Deeds.
