Applying to colleges?  If so, A Compendium of Texas Colleges and Financial Aid Calendar 2014-2015, which we just received, arrives at a good time.  Actually the entire book, sponsored by the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation, is available on the internet too.

Need health coverage?

If you need health coverage or would like to change your plan, join us this coming Wednesday, November 12, at 7 p.m. for an overview of the Health Insurance Marketplace. This program is presented by the Light and Salt Association, a non-profit organization that received a federal grant to provide outreach and in-person enrollment assistance.

November book club: Water for Elephants

Our branch book club meets next on Wednesday, November 19, at 11 a.m.  We will be discussing Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, a best seller when it originally was published and then a movie.
