5th Annual Halloween Party

Put on your Halloween costume and join us Monday, October 24, 2016 from 5-6 pm for our 5th Annual FREE Halloween Party! The library will be hosting a fun-filled party that will include games, face painting, photo booth, crafts and more!  The Friends of the South Houston Library will have some yummy treats for sale, all proceeds benefit future library programs.  For more information please call the branch at 713-941-2385.  Program is recommended for children ages 12 & under. 

Teen Halloween Bag

Join us on Wednesday,October 12, 2016 from 4:30 pm- 5:30 pm for some coloring fun. You can create your very own trick or treat bag for Halloween. All materials will be supplied by the Friends of the South Houston Library.  Craft is recommended for Teens ages 12 - 17. For more information please call the branch at 713-941-2385.

Computacion Basica- Dos Dias!

En el mes de octubre habra dos oportunidades para empezar el curso gratis de computacion que ofrecemos en la Biblioteca de South Houston. Las Clases se imparten en espanol y son diseñadas para principiantes. Clases empiezan Jueves Octubre 6 a las 10:30, o Sabado Octubre 8 a las 10:30.

Free Microsoft Word Basics Class!

 It's back to learning time at the South Houston Library! Microsoft Word Basics starts Monday September 12, 2016 at 5:00 pm. In this class we will learn the basics of Microsoft Word to create original documents. We'll start with formatting then move up to making fun personalized flyers.
