Come celebrate our long awaited reopening with Happy The Clown on Monday, March 12 from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM.  Happy will be entertaining us with his captivating performance, creating balloon animals and face painting.

Immunizations for Children/Vacunas para niños

  On Thursday, March 15th from 10am- 2 pm the Harris County Hospital District Troubleshooters Mobile Unit will be offering immunizations for children ages 2 months to 18 years for a very low cost.  Services will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. Please bring child(ren) shot record. Please contact library for more information at 713-941-2385.

South Houston Branch Library Set to Reopen on March 12.

We are pleased to announce that the South Houston Branch Library will reopen on Monday, March 12 at 1:00 PM. The contractors are now putting the finishing touches on the interior renovations which include new paint, carpet, furniture and work on the building’s infrastructure. Construction on the branch’s new computer lab will continue and we will keep you informed as work progresses.
