Making BugsPreschool Storytime enjoyed making bugs.  Preschool Storytime is a free year round program on Thursdays at 11:00am.

Teens Design Snacks!

Teen GourmetTeens bring your friends and create your own designer snacks--molded chocolates and eggless cookie dough.  Date: Thursday, July 19, 3pm until 4:30pm.  Ages 12 to 18.

Red Riding Reads

When Red arrives at Granny's house for tea, she finds that Granny's tea kettle has vanished!  Will Red find the tea kettle Little Red Ridingin time for tea?  Will the Big Bad Wolf help Red, or is he only there to eat her?  When: Wednesday, July 18, 3:00pm and repeated at 4:00pm.  Ages 5 & up.  50 tickets will be given out 30 minutes before each show.  Children should be able to sit through the program without a parent present.

Spring Branch-Memorial Library--The Page Turners

Homecoming of Samuel LakeTitle to be discussed:  The Homecoming of Samuel Lake: A Novel, by Jenny Wingfield.  Date of meeting: Tuesday, August 14, 6:30pm.  Summary:  Set in Arkansas in early June, this book tells of a family reunion that brings tragedy and change.
