Gulf Coast Reads--Events at Spring Branch-Memorial Library

Promise coverGulf Coast Reads: On the Same Page is an annual initiative whose goal is to encourage our communities to read the same title during the month of October and discuss it with neighbors, co-workers, friends and their families.  This year’s selection, The Promise by Ann Weisgarber,  is set on Galveston Island before, during and after the devastating hurricane of 1900.

To stimulate the discussion and enhance the understanding of the book, Spring Branch-Memorial Library is offering the following free programs:
