Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss~!

This upcoming Wednesday, March 2nd is Dr. Seuss's birthday. All across the country, it is celebrated also as "Read Across America" day. To celebrate, on Thursday, during storytime at 10:40, we will be having a very special Dr. Seuss themed morning. Ever wonder what those new fangled technological tools are used for...like the iPad, iPod, electronic books and e-notebooks? Did you receive one as a gift and haven't used it because you aren't sure how? You may bring your personal electronic item or just come to learn how to use them and explore the differences between them on Monday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Come to have a "hands on" experience. We will have iPods, iPads, eKindle, eNook, and e-notebooks here. Light refreshments will be served. Call us at 281-426-3521 if you have any questions.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP STRATFORD LIBRARY

Having trouble finding enough time to help your library? We have some quick ways you could help us out! When you check out your items, pick up  a list of things you can bring with you the next time you come in. The list is of items needed for the children's activities this summer. When you return your items to Stratford Library, bring your used ink cartridges and old cell phones for us to recycle. We have a display cabinet where we can show off some of your collections. Talk to someone at the desk to set up a date for the display. We can always use help decorating, bulletin boards, shelving, some light cleaning and many other activities that pop up where we could use extra hands and minds.
