Melted Crayon Art

This is a great program for teens (and adults who are still colorful at heart) to create works of art out of a canvas, crayons, and a hair dryer. You don't need to bring anything but your imagination! The program is on Thursday, December 19th at 4:30 pm. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. For more information please stop by the information desk or call 281-426-3521. You can also check out a calendar of all library events here.

Book Club Visits Olive Street

The book club is headed to Robyn Carr's The House on Olive Street to read about the lives of four writers who are brought together by the death of a close friend. Sable: her bestselling novels have made her a star, but the woman who has everything, in fact, has nothing but a past she is desperate to hide. Elly: the intellectual who has hidden herself within the walls of academia, afraid to admit she is tired of being alone.
