Cody Bear Checks In!

Recently our long time Children's Department bear - Cody Bear - retired to Florida and we received a new bear named Theodore!  Theodore has settled in nicely and has been enjoying getting to know all of the children here at the library.  The other day we received a postcard from Cody Bear and while he misses the library and all the children, he wants us to know that he is thoroughly enjoying his retirement.  Here is the postcard for you to read for yourself! *click on blog entry to enlarge postcard

Introducing Theodore!

Thank you to all who participated in our "name the bear contest" over the past 2 weeks.  After counting well over 200 votes, the winner by a large margin is Theodore!  We think its the perfect name for our new friend!   Next time you are in the library, say hello to Theodore and give him a great big bear hug!
