Mad Science - Mission Nutrition!

   Come to the Children's area on Monday, June 20th at 3:00 pm for Mad Science!  Learn the basics of nutrition from some of the wackiest scientists you'll ever meet!  If you come a bit early, you'll have a chance to meet the Chick-fil-A cow.  He'll be here at 2:00 pm  to meet, take pictures and have fun!  And, don't forget to register for the Summer Reading Program "On Your Mark, Get Set...Read" and receive a pin, certificate, medal and *FREE book by reading and completing activities!  *FREE book while supplies last!

The Teen Summer Reading Program is off to a great start! (If you haven’t signed up yet, what are you waiting for?) On Tuesday, use colorful Sharpies and rubbing alcohol to create marbled patterns on tiles, then color pages from coloring books while they dry. All supplies provided. For teens and tweens ages 10-18. Meet in the first floor Meeting Room on Tuesday, June 21 from 3:00-4:30 pm.

Coloring for Adults, this Thursday

This Thursday, June 16th, we're hosting another Coloring for Adults program. Come and discover the joy of adult coloring in the air conditioned comfort of our meeting room, from 2-4 pm. Relax and get lost in this meditative activity. We provide coloring pages from popular coloring books and we also provide felt markers and colored pencils. Feel free to bring your own supplies if you prefer and just come and enjoy the company. We'll be meeting every third Thursday of the month through June, July, and August, so you can even make it a habit! 

READING IS FOR WINNERS!

  On Your Mark, Get Set...it's time for more fun in the Children's Area!  On Monday, June 13th  at 2:00 pm, Andy the Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse will be wandering around to meet, greet and take pictures.  At 3:00 pm Mick Corley will entertain children and adults (of all ages) with his Reading is for Winners Show!  Enjoy magic, puppetry, mime, juggling and more!  This program is FREE and guaranteed fun!  See you then!

Teen Obstacle Course

Hey teens! Can you beat the clock and make it through the library obstacle course? This course will feature challenges including a laser grid made of yarn, a box tunnel, library mini golf, and more! For teens and tweens ages 10-18. Meet in the first floor Meeting Room on Tuesday, June 14 from 3:00-4:30 pm.
