Teens and Tweens! Explore dystopia and propaganda through art this January. Capitol or Rebel, Sith or Jedi, Matrix or Morpheus: choose a side and spread the message by creating a propaganda poster in support of your dystopian character.  Registration encouraged, limited to 20 artists. Ages 10-18.

Happy Holidays from the Children's Staff!

Kimberly, Genova, Ann, Allison, Paige, Jennifer and Amanda would like to wish all our wonderful children and their families a very happy holiday!  Thank you for coming to the library and allowing us to have fun and share what we love doing with you!  We will have Preschool story time on Thursday, December 22nd at 10:30 am and then the library will close at 5:00 pm for the holiday weekend.  We will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday, December 27th!  On Tuesday the 27th at 5:00 pm, children ages 4 - 12 are invited to come to the R.E.A.D. Program, choose a book from the shelf and read it one on one with a furry friend!   Seasons Readings!

The Joy of the Season to You All!

The Adult Services department thank you all for your patronage this year. We wish you every joy of the Season, and that you may have love and relaxation and fun. And of course, a good book! 

Game Night This Thursday!

Come, gather around our meeting room table for an evening of fun and folly. Try out a new game with other adult enthusiasts or stick to a classic at which you can dominate! That's this Thursday, December 15th, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

 

Merry Grinchmas!

 Even the Grinch can’t ruin the fun that is planned for Wednesday, December 14th in the Children’s area!   Join us for a special showing of the 1966 version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas at 4:30 pm.  After the movie, make a “grinchy” craft that is guaranteed to make your heart grow 3 times larger!  This program is limited to 30 children of all ages (and their parents).  Call the library at 832-559-4235 to register!  *Bring a drink with a lid and we’ll provide the popcorn!
