Room Art in a Jar

On Tuesday, stop by the library for Room Art in a Jar. Get creative and make something pretty with mason jars and craft supplies. All supplies provided. For teens and tweens ages 10-18. Meet in the first floor Meeting Room on Tuesday, July 30 from 3:00-4:30pm.

Balloons, Movies and Story times, Oh My!

  Thursday, July 25th is gonna be thrilling all day long in the Children's Library!  Starting at 10:30 am, bring the kids to Preschool Story time. Enjoy zoo themed stories, songs, fingerplays and a craft!  At 2:30 pm, Joshua Creations will be in the Children's area to make special themed balloons!  At 3:00 pm, it's time for a movie!  We will be showing the animated PG rated  Despicable Me!  Gru, who delights in all things wicked, vanquishes all who stand in his way.  That is, until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen - a potential dad.  Bring a drink with a lid, we'll provide the popcorn!  And, end the day with Spanish story time at 6:30 pm!  It's a whole day of fun and best of all, it's FREE!

On Tuesday, join us for bottle cap jewelry and make a charm for a necklace out of a bottle cap and craft supplies! All supplies provided. For teens and tweens ages 10-18. Meet in the first floor Meeting Room on Tuesday, July 23 from 3:00-4:30.

Claude Sims Amazing Juggling Show

Children's Movie Day!

   This Thursday, July 18th at 3:00, the Children's Department will be showing the G-rated Disney Pixar animated movie Cars!  Hotshot rookie race car, Lightning McQueen, is living life in the fast lane until he hits a detour on his way to the most important race of his life.  Stranded in Radiator Springs, he meets, Sally, Mater, Doc Hudson and other quirky characters who help him to discover that there's more to life than trophies and fame!  It's viewing fun for the whole family!  Bring a drink with a lid, we'll provide the popcorn!
