Sylvia McMillan Painting Exhibition

When she was a little girl, her grandfather would take her on Sunday outings to a particular park in Mexico City where artists showed and sold their artwork. As she delighted in all styles and genres of paintings in el parque del arte she promised herself that when she grew up she would become an artist .

You know Sylvia McMillan as the Children's Department's bilingual storyteller and the Adult Services Department's Computadoras instructor, and now we're showing you her wonderful paintings from her other life.
