People are starting to get excited about the start of the Summer Reading Program. You can be checking out and reading your books, but signups will start on Monday June 1. You can log on to the Library website www.hcpl.net and click on the Summer Reading Program for your age group. This year it will be easier for adults to manage multiple readers under 1 main participant.
We're 2 weeks away from the start of the Summer Reading Program - June 1 through August 8. This year's theme is Heroes. There will be activities and prizes for all ages - babies, children, tweens/teens and adults.
The WU book club will take a break in June, and will resume activity in July. Our book club selection for July will be Euphoria, by Lily King, and copies will be available for checkout at the beginning of June.
