Joker from Batman will present children's magic program

Erik the Magician - dressed as the Joker from Batman - will present a magic show for children on Wednesday August 6 at 3 PM.  This is the final program for the summer and will be in the auditorium at the Senior Center next door to the Library.

Trees for Houston program

   Trees for Houston will present a children's program on Wednesday July 23 at 3 PM.  Children will learn about tree biology and the value of planting and protecting trees in our environment.

Turtles were met with enthusiasm

  Children enjoyed meeting turtles up close during a program by the Traveling Naturalist from Precinct 1 this past Wednesday.

Turtle and tortoise program

   The Traveling Naturalist will bring turtles and tortoises for children to meet and study at a program on Wednesday July 16 at 3 PM.  This program will appeal to children ages 4 to 12 years.

Terrarium program for tweens and teens

Tweens and teens can learn about terrariums and the ecosystem involved by creating their own terrarium to take home.  The program will be Tuesday July 15 at 3:15 PM next door at the Senior Center.  The program is free and all supplies are provided.
