National Book Critics Circle honors 'Lila'

lilaMarilynne Robinson won the National Book Critics Circle Award on Thursday for her novel “Lila,” the final book in her trilogy set in the fictional Gilead, Iowa.

Preteen craft - Duct tape pouches

Pre teens will be able to make a duct tape zippered pouch during a craft program for Teen Tech Week.

The program will be Wednesday March 11 at 3:30 PM in the children's section upstairs.  This program is for pre teens ages 10 - 14 years.  All supplies provided by the library.

To Kill A Mockingbird

harper leeHarper Lee, author of "To Kill a Mockingbird," is set to publish a second novel in July.  "Go Set a Watchman" is a sequel of sorts to "To Kill a Mockingbird,"  although it was written first.
