Word Crafters

Word Crafters is a growing writer's group that meets every Wednesday at Baldwin Boettcher Library to discuss the art and craft of writing.

Participants share work for feedback and to find inspiration from each other in the process.

If you enjoy writing or are thinking of starting a writing project, please join us Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm.

Halloween Teen Craft: Skull Art

Join us on October 15th at 2 pm for our monthly teen craft. Due to its overwhelming popularity, we are bringing back Skull Art using a board, nails, hammers and string for this spooky handman-inspired craft project. Ages 10 and up. Space is limited. Registration is available online at www. hcpl.net or at the information desk.

Sensory Story Time

We just held out first Sensory Story Time at the BB branch.  This story time, which is opened to all children ages 2-5, is especially geared to children with sensory integration issues.  It is a great opportunity for our community to welcome all children at our library and see the benefits of storytimes.

For each of the Sensory Storytimes we pick a theme, read books related to the theme, present songs, do fingerplays/rhymes and play games related to the subject.
