Help From a Scout

Eagle Scout Erik Scott is coordinating a book and art supplies drive and a special Saturday book sale to help raise money for the Baldwin Boettcher Branch Friends of the Library. For this drive they are looking for new and gently used books, construction paper, colored pens and pencils, acrylic paint, canvas pads, googly eyes, glue sticks, glitter, kinetic sand, stickers, pom poms, brushes, and basic art supplies such as crayons, paper, and pencils.

You can donate art supplies directly to the library in the drop box in the lobby until Sat, Sept 27th. The library takes book donations year-round.

Are You Interested in Self Publishing?

Have a manuscript you don't know what to do with? Have you thought about self publishing but don't know where to start? Come to our Self Publishing Information Session on Monday, September 21 at 6 pm. This program will introduce you to the world of self publishing, both ebooks and print books. This hour and a half introduction to self publishing will have a strong focus on Amazon's publishing platform. All methods covered in this session are free; we will only explore the no-cost options to publish your work.
