Adult SRP: Sushi!

Connoisseur's Guide to Sushi

Come to the sushi demo this Monday, July 27, 6:30 pm.  No registration required.

Turn UP The Volume in Story Time

Why do we use so much music in story time?  It is a sort of language all in its own, but tied directly to learning.  In story time, it is used to create a friendly and inviting environment, to denote time; such as designating an opening and closing song.  In our case we use Skiddamrink to sing hello and The Clean Up Song to pick up after story time is over.

Did You Miss It?

Creative Escapes

We have some exciting ways for adults to leave the planet (figuratively, of course) during the thick heat of the Houston summer:

Click on our Events Calendar or call Baldwin Boettcher at 281-821-1320 to register for a creative writing class, a quilting program, a picture frame craft, and a sushi demo.  What a variety!

And if you haven’t yet registered for Adult SRP, there’s still time.  It’s easy – sign up online or at the library, log five books, and you’ll receive a ‘Reading Is My Superpower’ water bottle and have a chance to win a Kindle Fire!
