A Christmas Surprise!

Shhh…the elves will creep in during the Thanksgiving holiday. At least we think that’s what happens. All we know is that every year, while we’re all celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday and eating lots of food, our library is magically transformed.  When we open on Monday, Dec. 1st, there will be several Christmas trees and lots of decorations. So come by and enjoy the Christmas cheer. You may even see an elf!

Knit or Crochet a blanket for a Vet

Come and join the Knowledge Exchange, a knitting and crocheting group that meets every Friday. 

We meet in the Earl Elliott Room from 12:30-2:30 to enjoy conversation and craft.

We make lap blankets for the V.A. Hospital in Houston and chemo caps for the patients at M.D. Anderson. You can also work on your own projects while you talk with others.
