The Princeton Review is proud to partner with Barbara Bush Branch Library for these Events.

SAT Changes--September 3@6:30 pm-8:30 pm

This events is intended for students in the class of 2017 or younger.  We'll walk you through all of the changes happening with SAT and PSAT and explain what they mean for you.

Practice Redesigned SAT-All exams will be from 10:30-2:30 pm

Students will take a practice test under testing conditions to get a feel for the new exam and how to prepare for actual test day.  Students will receive score reports highlighting their strengths and areas of focus.

   Bring in your lightly used magazines (no more that one year old) to the rack on the second floor landing. You are welcome to take any magazines found there home without charge or checkout. Newer magazines only please.

 

Senior Classic Movie Morning

Come and watch a movie from the  "good old days"

August 21 – Film from 1946 starring Katherine Hepburn, Robert Taylor and Robert Mitchum

Due to licensing restrictions we are not able to promote the title of the movies. Call 281-376-4610 for the title. Bring a friend and enjoy a classic film. Senior Classic Movies are held twice a month, in the Earl Elliott Room, on the first and third Fridays. The Barbara Bush Branch Library’s address is 6817 Cypresswood Drive in Spring.

Green Thumb Gardening Series

August 13@6:30 to 8:30 pm

The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service and the Harris County Master Gardeners are pleased to offer the Green Thumb gardening series of lectures at the Barbara Bush Branch Library.

The topic on August 13 is “Low Maintenance Landscaping.” These lectures are free and space is limited so please call 281-855-5600 to register. This series will be held on the 2nd Thursday of the month.

The topic for September is “Indoor Gardening—pest problems and animal safety.”
