Words of Recognition

A customer sent me this the other day:

My public library, the Barbara Bush Branch of the Harris County library system,

is an indispensable source for students, parents, children and youth, and

readers like myself.  A public library keeps all of us in touch with our heritage

as a country, the enormous range of knowledge of human achievements and

the people who have made contributions to the world.  A community without

a library is blind and condemned to a life of ignorance.

He wanted to remain anonymous so I won't put his name. But I thought it was so nice and so true!

Yoga at the Library

Are you ready to stretch and relax? Come join us at our yoga classes! Every Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 we have yoga in the Earl Elliot room. It’s a great way to start the New Year!

Don't allow the lengthy financial aid forms and confusing jargon keep your family from taking advantage of every potential source of money. You will come away knowing what you need to do, and when you need to do it, to take complete control of the process. Call 281-376-4610 for more information or go to www.hcpl.net to register.
