SEEKING SUMMER INTERNS!

The Young Adult Services Summer Intern position is a 20 hour a week temporary position created to aid the Young Adult Librarian in running the Teen Summer Reading Program during June, July and the first week of August. Programs run the gamut from movie days to craft events, and a writing workshop. The Intern will aid in the set-up, execution and tear-down of teen programs as well as encourage teens to sign up for summer events.

Senior Classic Movie Morning

May 1 @10:00 in the Earl Elliott Meeting Room.

We will show a film from 1951 starring Gordon Macrae, Doris Day and Mary Wickes.
“It's the early 1900s and the Winfields move to a new neighborhood in their small Indiana town. As they settle in, tomboy Marjorie abandons baseball when the handsome college man across the street asks her out. 

Saturday is Free Comic Book Day!

Come and get a free comic book on Saturday, May 2. Bedrock City Comics will have a table in the Lobby all day and be giving out free comic books. They have materials for all ages.

SAT Practice Test presented by Kaplan

On Saturday, May 16,  Kaplan instructors will be at the library from 10:30-2:30.

Teens will take a full-length SAT Practice Test with individual results and suggestions handled via telephone conference the following week. Bring pencils and a calculator.

This will be the last practice test of the school year. The test will resume in the Fall.
