Dust Off Those Legos

Boy With Block Courtesy of Jupiter ImagesDo you have LEGOS that need a new home? Give them to the Barbara Bush Library! We are now collecting LEGOS for future children's and tween programming, so any gently used pieces would be greatly appreciated. With the donations we're hoping to do some really cool stuff down the road.

Just look for the striped box located in the library lobby and feel free to make one last creation before donating. You know you want to!

Sound Sound Everywhere

Thunder, music, horns or even firecrackers have something in common. Can you guess what? I HEAR it! Yes, it’s sound. We constantly are hearing or listening to something or the other at all times of the day (or the night). Let’s get more familiar with how sound is produced and how it travels.

Come and join us for our Silly Science program- Sensational Sound on Tuesday, September 10th at 4:30 PM. The event will be held in the Robin Bush Activity Room.

And while you are here check out some of the books on experiments with Sounds in the Harris County Public Library system.
