New library software will be installed during the week of November 9th through November 13th.

The Barbara Bush Library will remain open, but   installation of our new library software will cause a few days of interruption to some services.

What will I be able to access?

• You can still check out materials, but please remember to bring your library card with you to check out November 9-13.
• Access to digital services - eBooks, eAudio, streaming video, music and databases - will be available.
• Computers can still be used with a library guest pass and the wi-fi network will be available.

Senior Classic Movies

November 6 @10:00

We will show a film from 1960 starring Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine and Fred MacMUrray

“An ambitious office clerk plans to get ahead by lending out his apartment to his boss, but falls in love with the boss's girlfriend.”

Senior Classic Movies are usually held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 10:00 in the Earl Elliott room. There can be changes in the schedule due to other library programs. Watch the Events calendar on the HCPL website: Note the date change in November.

Licensing restrictions prevent us from promoting the title of the movies. Call 281-376-4610 for information.

Cut, Fold, Glue!

Who doesn’t like glue and paper? I think we all do, right? And what if we could build something out of paper? Even. More. Fun! Come and join me on Tuesday, November 3rd at 4:30 PM to make paper sculptures. It’ll be paperlicious!

Also later in the month of November stay tuned for: Lego Club, Thanksgiving Crafts, "Peanuts" Book to Movie Party
