The Barbara Bush Library Book Store is overflowing with great materials thanks to the generous donations of our community. To create more space for new items, the Friends are having a 50%-off sale. This means that hardbacks are only $1.50; large trade paperbacks are $1.00; and regular mass market paperbacks are only $.50!! Volunteer ESL Tutor Training -- September 12

The Barbara Bush Branch Library is seeking volunteer tutors to help non-English speaking adults learn to read, write, and speak English.  A free training workshop will take place at the library on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.  You need not speak another language or have teaching experience.  At the workshop we will introduce you to teaching techniques and materials which will allow you to communicate with non-English speaking students.  After training you will be matched with a student or a small group of students meeting at the library at a mutually convenient time.  For more information call Mi
