Attention All Crafty Teens!

Teens Making A CraftTeens! Come and enjoy our drop-in crafting program this Thursday at 6:00 pm. Stop by for a fun and relaxing craft. Bring your own craft or create something from the materials provided. Perhaps you still have one more person left on your holiday shopping list. Well, there’s no better gift to impress than one you made with your own hands.

And if Thursday doesn’t give you the crafting fix you need, then stop by Knowledge Exchange on Friday. At Knowledge Exchange anyone can do some knitting, no matter their skill level.

Senior Classic Movie Morning Friday, December 20 @ 10:00 AM

Come and watch a movie from the "good old days".  December's selection is a Christmas movie from 1947 starring Don Defore, Ann Harding, Charlie Ruggles and Gale Storm.

Special Computer Class: Digital Photography

 

Stand-alone Computer class: Digital Photography.

Bring your digital camera (optional) to this beginner class on digital cameras. Learn the basics of exposure and key features to look for when purchasing a camera. You will also learn how to insert pictures into a Microsoft Word document or e-mail. 

The class will be on Friday, December 20 from 10:00 - 12:00 in the Barbara Bush Library Friends Computer Lab. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens 30 days prior to the class.

Fun4SeniorsLogoHere’s some great news. The Barbara Bush Branch Library serves as a departure site for Precinct 4’s Fun4Seniors bus trips. Here’s some better news. For January, Precinct 4 is adding more trips!

Are you interested in visiting the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve? Does your sweet tooth demand a trip to a local candy factory?
