Get fit with Kickboxing and Toro!

This week we've got some great programs for the kiddos. On Tuesday, July 19th from 3-4pm, we've got a demonstration by Walker's Championship Karate & Kickboxing. Come on by to learn some cool moves! On Thursday, July 21st at 3pm, we've got Toro from the Houston Texans coming by. He's going to talk to us about getting healthy and active! Be sure to stop on by this week for some great programs! 

Senna, a documentary film will be screened @ 6:30 pm on July 19th, 2016 in the Earl Elliot Room.

Spanning his years as a Formula One racing driver from 1984 to his untimely death a decade later, Senna explores the life and work of the triple world champion, his  physical and spiritual achievements on the track, his quest for perfection and the  mythical status he has since attained.

Cool off this summer with an exotic water war at Barbara Bush Branch Library! Colored pigments from the Hindu festival of Holi are added to the water to give our water battle a colorful flair.

On Tuesday, July 12th, we will have the Nature Discovery Center presenting their Back to the Bone program! For kids who love animals, Back to the Bone talks about various animals and their backbones! Learn more about these animals with various specimens and live animals. Includes sorting and comparing skills.
