Bookstore Volunteers Needed

The Friends of the Library operate a bookstore in our lobby. If you haven't been there, it's a great place to buy gently used books, DVDs, and music. I even bought a Simpsons trivia game there once! They raise funds that help us do all the extra things here, like providing quality performers for our children's Summer Reading programs. They help us buy more books, e-books, and picture of a stack of booksDVDs. So the bookstore is pretty important to us here at the library. Right now the friends need new volunteers to help us in the bookstore. Typical shifts are 3 - 4 hours/half days. We need volunteers that are interested in working a regular weekly time slot and also those interested in being a substitute. Our bookstore is open 6 days a week and is run solely by volunteers.Training will be provided. Interested?  Call the library at  281-376-4610 and ask for Clara!
