What a wonderful community!

Terry Domino and Karen Lagarde display lap blankets made for the Veterans

St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church’s guild has been dropping off handmade blankets for the V.A. For years injured Veterans receive these items while they are recuperating from injuries received in Iraq and Afghanistan. This holiday season The Knowledge Exchange, members of the San Jacinto Daughters of the American Revolution, St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church and individuals in our community have been assuring that the continuance of this project be a success by sending to the Michael E. DeBakey V.A. Medical Center sixty lap blankets that are sure to brighten up the lives of our honorable men and women serving our country. Thank you to one and all and have a happy holiday season.
