Book Club Friday, April 17 @ 2pm

Crosby Book Club will meet to discuss Stitches, by Anne Lamott, on Friday, April 17th at 2 pm.  A meditation reflecting on how to cope with life's adversities, Lamott shares what has worked for her: "We live stitch by stitch, when we're lucky."  What does the author mean by that? Join us to find out!

Protect Yourself from Identity Theft and Fraud, Monday April 13

The public is invited to attend the annual meeting of the Friends of Crosby Branch Library on Monday, April 13, at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room.  Guest speaker Judy Culbreath, from Community Bank, will present "Protect Yourself from Identity Theft and Debit Card Fraud".  The library is pleased to host Ms. Culbreath as part of Houston Money Week, a community wide financial education initiative.  Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.

Easter Eggs

The Crosby Branch Library will have its annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 31st at 10:30 am. We will read stories and then hunt for eggs! After collecting the eggs, light refreshments will be served. Bringing a basket from home is helpful, but not required. 

Crosby Book Club, Fri. March 20 @ 2 pm

The public is invited to join a book club discussion on Friday, March 20, at 2 pm in the Meeting Room.  This month's selection is Travels with Charley: in search of America.  John Steinbeck's account of his journey across the United States in the early 1960's, accompanied by a gentleman French poodle, is one of his most personally revealing and popular works.
