Crosby Book Club Meeting Friday Sept. 16

Crosby Book Club will meet Friday, September 16, at 2 pm.  Please join us to discuss How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents, by Julia Alvarez.  This book, the first major novel written in English by a Dominican author, explores the experiences of four sisters caught between different cultures.  We recognize and celebrate the important literary contributions of Julia Alvarez during Hispanic Heritage Month!

Beginners' Computer Classes Sept. 13 - 29

Want to learn to use the computer?  Not sure where to begin?  Crosby Branch Library offers free computer classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 pm.  From September 13 through September 29, we will cover the basics: Windows, the Internet, and accessing the library's digital catalog.   For more information, please call 281-328-3535, or ask at the front desk.

New Computer Class: Creating Resumes

You will lean how to create great looking resumes using Word, Publisher,  and Learning Express Library's Resume Builder. You will also learn how to upload a resume or send a resume to an employer.
