Fall is in the Air....

Mom and child readingThe weather is cooler and the big kids are at school.  It's a great time of year to acquaint your little ones with all the great resources we have for them at the library!  In addition to story times and picture books, we have board books, music CD's and videos that will delight both children and their caregivers.

 

Book Club, Friday, September 19

En garde!  Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by reading Isabel Allende's Zorro!  We have copies available for check out at the front desk, and will be discussing this book on September 19, at 2 pm, in the meeting room.  Join us!

Get Ready, Get Set, Shop Our Book Sale!

The Friends of Crosby Branch Library will host a book sale in the Meeting Room on Friday, September 5, from 1 - 6 pm, and Saturday, September 6, from 10 - 5 pm.  A wide variety of new and used items will be available for purchase at bargain prices.  All proceeds benefit Crosby Branch by providing funding for summer reading and other library programs.

Free Computer Classes

Girl at ComputerLearning new things is not just for school kids! You can learn basic computer skills at the library. We offer free computer classes every Tuesday and Thursday at 3 pm. Come check them out and learn something new this fall!
